Hey everyone, JonBoyBeats here from Show Me The Data! Just got back from a two-week hiatus getting married and spending our honeymoon on the beach in Tahiti. Wanted to send out a quick reminder about everything I have going in “The Workload Report” for the upcoming NFL season. See below for ALL the details!
Also, wanted to let everyone know now that the insanity the revolves around a wedding is now in the rearview mirror, I will be getting back to posting my weekly Top Shot articles soon! There is plenty to catch up on. Cheers yall!
I am sure there is a decent sized overlap between TS and FF, so I am excited to share with everyone these details. For those of you who may only know me through TS, just know that FF was my first true love and is something I have been writing content about it for the last 3 seasons!
The Workload Report
This is a new endeavor that I am introducing this season, but it is one that had immense popularity in it’s earliest form. Here is a link to the Reddit Post that went viral on r/fantasyfootball after Week 1 last season.
This season, I am stepping my game up and following a very similar pattern to the Top Shot subscription service that I set up including Google Sheets, Substack, and Discord. For just $2/week you can get Early-Bird pricing access to everything The Workload Report has to offer!
Google Sheet: Each week, I will publish a large database worth of relevant fantasy data on Google Sheets. This includes important opportunity, production, and fantasy results stats that are broken down at an individual and team level. Here is an example of what that sheet looked like last year during Week 11! As you can see, I have things broken out by RB, WR, and TE as well as sorted by Team, however with the google sheet access you can download the sheet every week and sort by however you see fit.
Long-Form Analysis: If the sheet above seems a little bit overwhelming, don’t worry that’s why I’m here! Every week I will provide a very lengthy analysis including tons of actionable information that comes out of the Workload Report. I try my best to help break down each of the different advanced statistics so they are digestible to even the casual Fantasy Football player, and have a ton of fun diving in each Tuesday night and digging for fantasy gold! Here is an example of this analysis for Week 7 of last season:
Weekly Positional Rankings: In addition to the analysis, I will publish my updated positional rankings each week. These are a little bit different than most you will find in the industry because they aren’t specific to that upcoming slate of games. Rather, the intention is to categorize each team’s positional group into different tiers based on some of the opportunity and production that the numbers are telling us. Again, here is an example of what those rankings looked like in Week 7 of 2020:
Discord Access: I currently have some Fantasy Football channels as a part of the Show Me The Data discord, but those will be going private after Week 1 of the NFL season, I plan on opening up the Voice Channel every Sunday morning before kickoff and helping answer start/sit questions, discussing DFS flyers, and reacting to any late breaking injury news! Very excited about this aspect of Discord.
If you are liking what you are reading so far, here is the signup link once again. If you want to just test out the waters still, make sure to signup for a free subscription and you will still get all of this content for Week 1 as a trial run!

DFS Flowchart: Arguably my most popular piece of fantasy football content, is my weekly DraftKings DFS flowcharts. Each week I will publish the flowchart along with analysis which will help you build competitive DFS lineups. Weaved into the flowchart are a lot of concepts and construction strategies which will help you get a leg up on the field! Here is what the Flowchart looked like in Week 13 of last season.
Showdown Worksheets: Beating NFL Showdown slates is arguably one of the hardest things to do in all of Daily Fantasy sports. For all of the island games (TNF, SNF, and MNF) I provide a very in-depth Showdown Worksheet which is one-of-a-kind in the industry. This is what the worksheet looked like for last season’s Week 15 Thursday Night Football game between the Chargers and Raiders!
If you have gotten this far in the email, I can tell you are definitely a Fantasy Football diehard so welcome to the club! Excited to start gearing up for the 2021 Fantasy Football season together.
